If you’ve used up all your credits, don’t worry—there are a couple of easy ways to keep going, depending on your current plan and what you need next.

How Credits Work

Each time you successfully return data from a search, one credit is used. If a search doesn’t return any data, no credit is deducted.

What You Can Do if You’re Out of Credits

Option 1: Wait for Your Next Renewal

If you're on a monthly or annual subscription, your credits will automatically refresh at the start of your next billing cycle.

Option 2: Start a New Subscription

If you need more credits immediately, you can purchase a new subscription. This will:

  • Add a fresh batch of credits to your account

  • Start a new billing cycle based on your purchase date

  • Automatically replace your previous subscription (you won’t be double-charged)

Can I Stack Subscriptions?

No—Swordfish only allows one active subscription per account. When you purchase a new plan, it automatically overrides your existing one, resets your billing date, and refills your credits right away.
