We understand things change, and if you're looking to cancel your Swordfish subscription, here's how the process works.
Cancellation Policy
Swordfish subscriptions renew automatically based on your plan, monthly or annually. If you decide to cancel, we ask that you let us know at least 30 days before your next renewal date. This gives us time to process your request and ensures everything is handled smoothly.
Important Information for Free Trials
When you start a 7-day free trial, a credit card is required at sign-up. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Please note:
- You will be charged after the 7-day trial ends unless you cancel beforehand.
- No refunds will be issued once the trial converts into a paid plan.
- A $5 pre-authorization charge may appear on your card when signing up. This is temporary and will be automatically released by your bank.
If you're unsure about the timing, you can always check your trial and renewal status in your Account Settings.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
If You Have an Unlimited Plan (July 2025 and Later)
Our unlimited plans launched in July 2025 provide unlimited monthly usage within our fair use policy. To cancel your unlimited subscription:

- Start a conversation via chat in your dashboard
We'll confirm your cancellation and take care of the rest.
If You Have a Legacy Credit-Based Plan (Pre-July 2025)
If you're on one of our legacy credit-based plans, you have access to certain features that aren't available in our current unlimited plans. You can view the differences at swordfish.ai/pricing.
To cancel your legacy subscription:

- Start a conversation via chat in your dashboard
Note for Legacy Customers: Before canceling, consider that if you switch to our unlimited plan in the future, you may lose access to certain legacy features. Our team can help you understand the differences and find the best option for your needs.
