Overview
The Swordfish Claude connector gives Claude direct, secure access to your Swordfish AI account. Once connected, Claude can search for verified cell phone numbers and business emails, enrich contact lists, and check your account status — all without leaving your conversation.
You authorize once, and Claude uses your account's permissions for every request going forward.
Setup
- In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, or find "Swordfish AI" in the connector directory
- Click Connect
- Log in with your Swordfish AI account and approve access
- Claude can now use Swordfish automatically whenever it's relevant to your request

Supported tools

| Search People | Finds verified contact details using filters like name, company, job title, seniority, location, industry, skills, or LinkedIn URL |
| Account Info | Returns your account status when asked. Claude only checks this on request — it doesn't run automatically before every search |
Both tools are read-only — Swordfish never modifies, deletes, or sends anything on your behalf. Historical usage data isn't available through the connector; Account Info reflects your status at the time you ask.

Tips for better results
- Be specific with filters (title, location, company size) — narrower searches return more relevant matches
- If you already have someone's LinkedIn URL, include it directly for faster, more precise results
- Swordfish returns verified data validated in real time, but always confirm critical details before high-stakes outreach
- If you want your account status included, ask for it explicitly — Claude won't check it automatically as part of a search

The Swordfish API is intended strictly for B2B contact enrichment and Trust & Safety verification. It is not a Consumer Reporting Agency under the FCRA, and this data may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, or housing eligibility decisions.
Troubleshooting
Claude says it can't access Swordfish — Reconnect the connector from Claude's Settings → Connectors; your authorization may have expired.
No results found — Try broadening your search filters; overly specific combinations (e.g. exact title + exact city + exact company size) can return zero matches.
Account status unclear — Ask Claude "What's my current Swordfish account status?" or check directly at your Swordfish account.
