Credits are used to access contact data within the Swordfish platform. Each subscription includes a set number of credits, which are allocated based on your plan.


When are credits added to my account?

Credits are dispensed automatically based on your subscription type:

  • Monthly subscriptions: Receive new credits each month.
  • Annual subscriptions: Receive all credits for the year upfront.


As long as your subscription remains active, credits will continue to be added according to your billing cycle.


Do credits expire?

Credits do not expire as long as your subscription is active. However, if your subscription is canceled or lapses, any remaining credits will be lost.


How are credits used?

Credits are deducted only when you successfully retrieve contact data. If a search does not return any results, no credits will be charged.


What happens if I run out of credits?

If you need more credits before your next renewal, you can purchase a new subscription. This will:

  • Instantly add more credits to your account
  • Reset your billing cycle to the date of purchase
  • Ensure you are only charged for one active subscription at a time
